Libya · 2026 · Internet Governance Forum
Empowering the next generation of Libyan digital leaders to shape policies, foster dialogue, and build a more open, inclusive, and secure internet for all.
The Initiative
The Libyan Youth Internet Governance Forum (Youth IGF) is a national multi-stakeholder initiative designed to bring together young Libyans from across the country to participate actively in conversations about internet governance and digital policy.
Inspired by the global IGF model and the African youth IGF movement, this forum provides a safe, inclusive, and open space for youth to engage with government officials, civil society, academia, the technical community, and the private sector.
Participants will deliberate on key issues such as digital rights, cybersecurity, access, data protection, and the future of Libya's digital infrastructure — contributing their voices to shape a better digital future.
Youth participants will co-design the agenda, moderate sessions, and produce an outcome document with actionable recommendations presented to national stakeholders and policymakers.
